Fin de la saison 2009/2010 comes to a close.

 Notre journée de clôture  de fin d’année a eu lieu le 17 avril et à voir la réaction des participants tous ce sont bien amusé.  La participation en équipe au jeu le matin a encore une fois été un grand succès gardant l’énigme de qui était pour l’emporter, intense jusqu’au dernier moment.  S’en est suivi le rapport financier de l’année en cours et encore une fois Barbara Gendron notre ministre des finances a fait un travail digne de mention.  S’en est suivi la nomination du nouveau comité.  Le seul nouveau venu a été Serge Malenfant dans la position de Vice Président en remplacement de Régent Morin.  Un grand merci à Régent qui a donné son temps sans hésitation pour que la ligue puisse progresser  au maximum/Closing day with tournament and festivities took place on Saturday the 17th of April, 2010, and by the expressions of the players, everyone had a great time. Participation in the team play tournament in the morning was ferocious. With the rules of play being as they were, the winners were unknown until the last possible moment of play. A financial report was provided following play and once again Barbara, our treasurer, gave an exemplary report on the leagues finances. The nomination of our new committee followed and only one change was voted by our members, this being the new Vice-President, Serge Malenfant. Outgoing Vice-President Régent Morin was thanked for his efforts this past season in helping the leagues continued success.

 Après notre traditionnel dîner St-Hubert nous avons progressé avec les parties en simple par division.  La compétition a été très intense et tous les efforts ont été déployés afin de remporter les honneurs.  Puisque toute bonne chose a une fin, les compétitions ont prisent fin vers les 16 :30 et toutes les bourses et bouteille de vin ont alors été distribué.

 Donc une autre bonne fin d’année.  Merci à tous nos joueurs réguliers et je dois aussi dire un grand merci a tous nos remplaçants sans qui la ligue ne pourrait avoir le succès qui en fait une ligue active avec un futur prometteur./Dinner was then served by St-Hubert and play resumed with a singles tournament based on level of play. Competition was again intense and the format of play kept us guessing to the end as to who would win honours. As all good things must come to an end, play finished around 16h30 and all present received their awards, monies and a rather nice bottle of wine. Another excellent season comes to a close and we would like to thank all of our members and replacement members for their time, generosity and efforts in ensuring that our league continues to be successful for years to come.

 Nos plus grands mercis vont à Benoit et Francine qui nous ont donné leur support et qui donne une grande visibilité à notre ligue.

 On espère tous vous revoir lors de notre prochaine saison en espérant que vous vous faites un devoir de promouvoir la partie de dards et que nous ayons encore plus de joueurs l’an prochain./A very big thank-you to Francine and Benoit for their support in helping us develope our league. Without them, we wouldn`t be the club we are today.
